How does the online school work?
Learning Pathways
The online school is designed to develop your drumming skills evenly, through a step-by-step approach. There are 4 learning pathways within the curriculum:
Reading Rhythms
Improve your sight reading skills while learning drum music theory.Rudiments & Technique
Learn rudiments and patterns, while improving speed and control with your hands and feet.Grooves & Independence
Develop drum beats across different genres of music. As your skills develop, you’ll learn more intricate 4-way limb coordination.Fills
Construct drum fills and transitions to integrate with your grooves.
Modules
Each pathway consists of several modules and courses. Each includes:
6-16 practice exercises, with video demonstrations for each.
An assessment exercise to see if you are ready to move to the next course.
Interactive music education software that allows you to change tempo, loop sections, use a metronome and much more. No more need for sheet music print outs.
What skill level is this suitable for?
The great thing is, you don’t need any prior skills to start online lessons – all you need is a will to learn!
